First Page of Google! | DeanHayden.co.uk

3. Why can’t I find you on Google?

For some reason I can’t find your site, if you can put me on the first page of Google then why can’t you do the same for yourself? I have the email addresses of several other SEO companies that might be able to help…

A brilliant rant against "SEO" spam from @deanhayden

Are Webinar's the future of training?

I've already posted this link but I wanted to expand a little on this quote from Garr Reynolds of Presentation Zen:

Seminars and workshops are great, but given the current economic situation, it's difficult for many people to attend full-day workshops, especially when participation involves transportation and hotel costs, etc. Duarte Design, which has run many successful workshops at their head office in Silicon Valley since last year, has an answer for the recession blues: The Webinar.

Pretty straight forward statement. Yet, it does surprise me that more training companies don't do this.

Sure, sure... you can't beat face-to-face training whether one-on-one or in a group. But, surely as company that is selling training, a Webinar  - either recorded or live - is a great way to further capitalize on your number one resource. Especially, when your product is based on what's inside your head.

In The Cashflow Quadrant, Robert Kiyosaki suggests the difference between being Self-Employed or a Business Owner is that the Business Owner does not have to be there for the Business to make money. (Indeed, in the internet age we could go one further and say that the best business model is one where no-one has to be present for the business to make money!)

Since the trainer's presence in a hired or owned room must be one of the key overheads for any training or coaching company Webinars - especially, recorded ones - must be an incredibly attractive thing for a training company.
